Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick are laying rumours of a rift to rest as they prepare to welcome twin girls into their family.
The couple - who wed in 1997 - have announced the news that they are expecting twin baby sisters for their son James Wilke, with the help of an unidentified surrogate.
And Sarah says she isn't worried about leaping from mum-of-one to mum-of-three in a matter of months, because Matthew is already a great father to her six-year-old son.
She said: "To see my husband Matthew be the father I knew he would be, that makes me feel very lucky and privileged."
The surprise news comes just weeks after Jessica and Matthew were forced to defend their marriage in the wake of reports of infidelity.
The Sex & The City star recently waved the rumours away, stating: "We don't even bother to address them (the reports)."
