Robert Pattinson's days as a heartthrob are far from over as he signs on to play another romantic lead in a film produced by Summit Entertainment.
The Twilight star - who is currently on location in Vancouver filming New Moon - is set to star in the all too familiar role as one half of a young couple, whose love becomes threatened by a succession of family tragedies.
Rob finishes filming for New Moon in May and follows up brooding vampire Edward Cullen with a gut-wrenching role in Remember Me, originally titled Memoirs.
The film will be directed by Emmy-winning director Allen Coulter (The Sopranos, Damages) and written by Jenny Lumet, who penned the script for Rachel Getting Married.
Rob's leading lady is yet to be announced.
