Matthew McConaughey's Daddy Day Out

Matthew McConaughey, girlfriend Camila Alves and their son, Levi, attended the MaliBLUE Art & Music Festival in California on Sunday.

The family chilled out in the sunshine while watching live acts perform on Malibu pier - and little Levi, who has just turned nine months, is already shaping up to be quite the fashion forward tot.

Meanwhile, the actor has revealed he's a hands-on first-time daddy – even if it means getting soaked come nappy-changing time.

He said: “Yes, I’ve changed diapers and yes, Levi has peed on me - more than a few times to both. He gets the joke when he pees on me. He laughs. He laughs his butt off!

“I think I am good at changing diapers. I could have a race-off with some other dads out there.”

Despite being regularly soaked in urine, Matt is loving fatherhood.

He tells People: “The coolest thing I've learned from Levi is kids really remind you of your sense of humour. Like I was just saying, they pee on you and they're just laughing and all of sudden you're reminded of having a sense of humour about everything.

"You can watch Levi, and everything he sees is for the first time, so you see the wonder in something we see every day.”
