Simon Cowell Not Shocked By Susan Boyle's Makeover

Simon Cowell says he isn't surprised that Susan Boyle opted for a makeover only weeks after becoming a household name.

The X Factor judge - who is famous for his groomed appearance - insists that it was only a matter of time before we saw the 'Hairy Angel' transform her look to match her sensational vocals.

"First of all, she is a woman, and I think anybody who was subject to the kind of comments is going to go, 'You know what? Maybe I should do something about the way I look,'" he tells Entertainment Tonight.

"She was probably swooped on by about a million colourists who want to make a name for themselves."

Simon also swallowed his pride and admitted his was wrong to judge Susan by the way she looked.

He adds: "We were all guilty of judging her before she sang. You watch it back and it is embarrassing. We were completely wrong."
