Miley Cyrus is this close to dumping boyfriend Justin Gaston to get back her ex Nick Jonas, it's claimed.

The Hannah Montana star is said to be still carrying a torch for her fellow Disney poppet, despite being in a relationship with underwear model Justin for the past eight months.

“Miley and Nick want to get back together,” a source tells the NY Daily News. “Because they’re working together [on a new video], they’ve been put in close proximity to each other.

“They’re now spending more and more time together, and they’re constantly on the phone.”

So far they've had to make do with make-out sessions round at Nick's place: “Miley was over at the Jonas house recently, and they were smooching. Nick’s parents have this rule that when a girl is over, the door has to be open, but that didn’t stop Nick and Miley from making out.”

According to the insider, Miley - who split from Nick in 2007 - recently had a crying fit over how to break the news to Justin that their romance is over.

The source explains: “She doesn’t know how to tell Justin that they’re over, but Nick is being very firm with her. He’s a good, stand-up kind of guy, and is making Miley tell Justin very, very soon. He’s being tough about it.

“I think Miley and Nick are definitely in the process of rekindling their romance.”
