Mel Gibson's self-described mistress called a press conference today - to announce that we she will be no longer be able to talk to the press about their alleged affair.

Russian singer Oksana Pochepa says that Mel's people fear her constant babbling will help soon-to-be-ex-wife Robyn to a greater chunk of the actor's £640 million fortune.

She said: “Until Mel and his wife Robyn settle their relations, no one has the right to speak about this.

“It is unfair. It’s not normal. As soon as the divorce happens, I will be able to comment.

“He is a superb man. I have no choice except to keep silent now.”

Robyn, Mel's wife of twenty-eight years, following the publication of pictures of her husband frolicking with a brunette on a Costa Rica beach.
