Gwen Stefani's Husband Gavin Rossdale Hit By Gay Affair Claims

Gavin Rossdale seems unable to leave his colourful past behind, despite being happily married to Gwen Stefani for the past seven years.

The latest bombshell to hit their thirteen-year relationship comes courtesy of New Romantic gender-bender Marilyn, who has finally confessed to being romantically involved with the former Bush frontman in the early eighties.

Boy George – who used to share a squat with the Calling Your Name singer - first made the allegation in his 1995 biography Take It Like a Man.

At the time both denied having an affair and insisted they were simply old friends.

But Marilyn – born Peter Robinson - appears to have had a change of heart and now says Gavin “was the love of my life."

As for his initial denials, Marilyn explains: “He was just becoming successful in America. I agreed to lie against every grain of my being.”

“We were together five years. But it felt like 40.”

Gavin's hard-partying eighties also produced a 20-year-old daughter, model Daisy Lowe, after a brief fling with her mother, former wild child Pearl Lowe.

He had been Daisy's godfather until a paternity test revealed he was the father in 2004.

Gavin and Gwen married in 2002, and have two young children, Kingston, two, and seven-month-old Zuma.
