The Britain's Got Talent star proved her pipes could may well win her Simon Cowell's talent show when she stepped on stage last weekend - but for Susan success has definitely been a long time coming.

The Daily Record has unearthed a recording of Susan in 1999 singing a sensational rendition of Ella Fitzgerald's blues track Cry Me a River.

Meanwhile, judge Simon says that people shouldn't be hedging their bets just yet as the show still has an array of hopefuls waiting in the wings.
