There was no missing the newlywed singer's scalp exposure as she posed on Malibu Pier before production moved on to the beach.

Her thinning hair has prompted gossip that her newly-brunette barnet could be feeling the strain of frequent dye jobs and/or extensions.

Aside from genetics, stress and extreme dieting can also be a factor in female hair loss.

Gaping centre parting notwithstanding, Fergie looked stunning in a simple outfit of jeans and black top.
