Madonna Blames Paparazzi For Horse Fall

Madonna was all shook up after photographers reportedly startled the horse she was riding, causing it to throw her to the ground.

The queen of pop was treated for minor injuries at Southampton Hospital on Long Island, New York, after a leisurely ride at celebrity photographer Steven Klein' Hamptons estate, went very wrong.

Madge's rep Liz Rosenburg said the incident occurred when a group of snap-happy paps jumped out from the bushes, causing the singer's horse to rear up in alarm.

But local photographer Thomas Hinton insists the paparazzi claims are completely false: "As far as I'm concerned, the only photographer present when the accident happened was Steven Klein.

"If a photographer startled a horse, I'm thinking we would have seen the pictures by now.

"That would be such an egregious thing to do, to trespass and startle a horse. The police would have been looking for a photographer," he told Newsday.com.

The singer got back in the saddle after receiving three cracked ribs, a broken collar bone and fractured hand in a riding fall on her 47th birthday four years ago.
