Jamie Foxx has issued a public apology following his abusive radio rant aimed at Miley Cyrus.
The actor/singer launched a scathing attack on the Disney star when a caller rang into to his show The Foxxhole to discuss Miley's spoilt reaction to being snubbed by music legends Radiohead.
Jamie went on to suggest the 16-year-old Hannah Montana star should "get like Britney and do some heroin", "get some crack in your pipe and start seeing a lesbian" like Lindsay Lohan, and "catch chlamydia on a bicycle seat".
But during an interview with Jay Leno, Jamie admitted his comments had crossed the line, "There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologise for what I said.
"I didn't mean it maliciously."
He added, "You know I'm a comedian. You know my heart. Miley, I apologise, so I'll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand."
