Lindsay Lohan is still refusing to admit that her volatile relationship with Samantha Ronson may be over for good.

Despite Sam changing the locks on her Hollywood home to bar the actress following their huge row at the Chateau Marmont hotel, the Mean Girls star continues to claim that the couple are just “taking a break” for a while.

During a trip to Rite Aid with younger sister Ali, Lindsay told photographers who asked what life was like sans Sam: "You guys make it seem like it's so over.”

“People take breaks. It's okay. It's normal...to focus on themselves.”

However, sources close to Sam have a dramatically different take on the situation.

One told the New York Post's Page Six column, "They are definitely broken up - hopefully this time it's forever."

Whatever the future holds for their relationship, Lindsay certainly seems to be taking their "break" rather hard.
