Farrah Fawcett is on the mend, contrary to previous reports that the actress is "knocking on death's door", says her producer.
The Charlie's Angel is said to be resting comfortably in a Los Angeles hospital after being treated for a procedure in Germany, which suffered complications.
“She had a minor procedure. That procedure led to a small amount of bleeding into a muscle in her abdominal wall,” her L.A. cancer specialist, Dr. Lawrence Piro told msnbc.
“She’s on the mend and will be going home very shortly,” said her producer, Craig Nevius.
He added, “She’s doing fantastic. Her fight goes on. ...She’s not going anywhere anytime soon.”
However, it isn't all good news for the actress, who was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006.
On Feb. 2 2007 the cancer was declared in remission but three months later scans showed “not only had it recurred, it metastasized to her liver,” Nevius said.
