Jennifer Love Hewitt showed off the extent of her dramatic weight loss at Sunday's Academy Country Music Awards.

The actress' body shape became headline news in 2007 following the publication of unflattering photos of her in a bikini while on holiday with then-fiance Ross McCall.

The defiant Ghost Whisperer star hit back at her critics at the time by pointing out that “a size 2 is not fat!” and vowing not to lose weight over the pictures.

However Jennifer's curves were noticeably absent last night as she posed on the red carpet in a chiffon gown that hung off her bony shoulders.

She also appeared to be suffering from a severe case of lolly-pop head syndrome, more commonly seen on super-skinny stars such as Victoria Beckham.
