Farrah Fawcett has been hospitalised following a three year battle with anal cancer.
The Charlie's Angel was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday, upon her return to the U.S from Germany, where she had experimental stem-cell treatment to rid her of cancer.
Farrah - who was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006 - is reportedly unconscious, in a critical but stable condition.
Sources tell RadarOnine.com that the actress' long time lover Ryan O'Neal and troubled son Redmond have been at Farrah's bedside ever since she was rushed to hospital on Thursday.
Her producer Craig Nevius released the following statement regarding his client's recent hospitalisation:
He said: "On Farrah Fawcett's behalf, I can confirm that she recently checked into a Los Angeles hospital.
"And although it is usually against her nature to correct false or exaggerated stories that originate in tabloid-style reports by offering true information that they would not otherwise have to publish, Farrah is allowing this statement out of appreciation for her fans, who have offered their constant support throughout her fight, as well as out of concern for the countless other cancer patients who have written her over the last two-and-a-half years in order to tell her that they are following her story in the hope that there is hope."
Farrah's cancer went into remission in the early stages but later returned after chemotherapy failed to eradicate all of the cancerous cells.
