Chris Brown To Make Plea Bargain In Rihanna Case?

Chris Brown is reportedly in talks with lawyers and the prosecution about making a plea bargain, it's claimed.

The Run It star - who is in court for his arraignment today - is said to be engaged in serious plea bargain negotiations over his alleged domestic assault on Rihanna in February.

If Chris manages to close the deal it is believed that his sometime girlfriend Rihanna will not have to testify against her lover - an outcome which the Barbadian pop star is reportedly hoping for.

A source told TMZ.com: "Rihanna has made it clear she does not want to testify in the case and wants Brown to cop a plea.

"One of the reasons she's in Barbados right now is because she wants to be as far away from this case as possible."

Ever since Rihanna re-emerged looking fresh as a daisy last month - following hers and Chris' alleged altercation - the pop princess seems to have made it her mission to be spotted as often as possible without Chris.
