In perhaps a surprise move given her recent violent clash with boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna has gotten herself a gun tattoo.
The singer had a handgun inked onto her ribcage this week, inviting the inevitable accusations that she is glamourising gun crime.
Rihanna visited tattoo artist BangBang in L.A. to get her latest ink done, and pictures on his site show that the star had initially wanted a pair of guns tattooed onto both of her arms.
But Rihanna eventually opted for a single, more discreet design just below her armpit.
BangBang explains on his website, “I really wanted to put it here...She loved ‘em.. But, cover girl wouldn’t have liked it much...and they pay the bills!”
Rihanna previously wore a pistol-shaped pendant during a night out in New York.
