Before Jade Goody passed away she ensured that her sons would receive enough money to last a lifetime, while husband Jack Tweed received nothing - through his own choice.
The reality TV star - who lost her battle with cervical cancer on Mother's Day last Sunday - has reportedly left her five-year-old son Bobby and four-year-old son Freddie £2 million each, to fund their lifestyle and education.
But Jack, who was offered Jade's £1 million home in Upshire Essex, refused to accept his late wife's gesture because it would be too difficult to live in the property without Jade by his side, reports the Daily Mail.
Before she died, Jade said: "Everything I have, my houses, my money, is going to my sons.
"I always wanted my family to have what I never could, no matter what it might cost."
Jack's marriage to Jade may have left him with nothing but financial experts say that the nuptials may have saved her sons a whopping £1 million in inheritance tax.
If the couple's lavish ceremony had not taken place Freddie and Bobby's trust would have been liable for 40% tax on more than £2.68 million of her estate, resulting in a £1,075,000 bill, says Andrew Kirby a senior tax manager at Moore Blatch.
Jack is able to attend Jade's funeral on April 4 after it emerged that his court appearance for an alleged assault has been postponed to April 16.
