Katie Holmes reportedly splashed the cash to bring back her girl next door good looks for the Valkyrie premiere in Tokyo.

The actress is said to have spent a whopping $45,000 on hair, makeup, dental veneers and spa treatments in a bid to regain her youthful glow, which has been lacking in recent months.

According to a U.S. publication, the Hollywood mum - who has allegedly embarked on a gruelling Scientology detox called the Purification Rundown - went all out to wow the crowds with a new look.

A fan at the premiere told In Touch, "She didn't have a wrinkle on her face, her hair was perfect, and she had the body of a supermodel.

"She was absolutely flawless."

Her shiny hairstyle, reminiscent of the early TomKat days, cost $3,000 and took six hours to perfect, it's claimed.

She also apparently spent $10,000 on spa treatments, $30,000 on her pearly whites and a further $2,000 for the application of her age-defying makeup.
