Leann Rimes has been hit by tabloid claims that she was filmed cheating on her husband of seven years with her married co-star.

The country singer - who renewed her wedding vows to back-up dancer Dean Sheremet just last year – is reportedly embroiled in a passionate affair with Northern Lights actor Eddie Cibrian.

And evidence of their illicit tryst has been caught on camera, according to US Weekly.

The publication claims that shocking security camera footage features the clean-cut country star kissing the actor on an intimate date at Mosun and Club M in Laguna Beach, California earlier this month.

It seems the pair hit it off immediately on-set - the director of the TV movie, Mike Robe, had previously told the magazine, "From the moment we rehearsed, LeAnn and Eddie honestly developed a really strong bond and a warm relationship."

Eddie has been married to model Brandi Glanville since 2001, and has two young sons.

A representative for Leann tells the publication, "We do not comment on our clients' personal lives."
