Jennifer Aniston is said to have ended her one year romance with toy boy John Mayer because he wasn't ready to father her child.
The actress - who has expressed her desire to become a mother on several occasions - reportedly kicked John to the curb in a moment of clarity about John's maturity.
A source tells OK! magazine, "John wasn't ready to father her child so she ended it.
"John's number one priority is his music, which is all-consuming for him."
Jen put on a brave front as she stepped out of the Sunset Tower Hotel in L.A. last week grinning like a cheshire cat.
According to reports, her attitude to the breakup has been very healthy - over dinner with pal Courteney Cox at the Terrace in L.A. the actress expressed her relief regarding the split.
The source adds, "She was truly ready to move on."
