Lindsay Lohan is now a wanted woman after failing to follow through with an alcohol probation programme, it's claimed.

The actress partied her worries away this weekend following the news that a $50,000 warrant has been issued for her arrest.

Lindsay is said to have drowned her sorrows at Jack Nicholson's home until 4.30am when she stumbled back to to girlfriend Samantha Ronson's home for a lover's spat.

Police were called to Sam's L.A. home after Lindsay threw a vase through the window, but upon their arrival the pair refused to answer the door.

Lindsay and Sam's window-smashing (see inset) fight sparks a media frenzy...and a visit from the cops

A source tells us, "The police were called in by a neighbour after a loud argument between Lindsay and Sam, which could be heard out on the street.

"At one point, something went flying through a side window, shattering glass on the side walkway of the house.

"LAPD officers pounded at the front door but Lindsay or Sam did not open the door."

The actress' lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley is hoping that this "misunderstanding" will be resolved.

"Since her case was resolved, Ms. Lohan has been in compliance with all the terms and conditions of her probation and all orders of the court," her lawyer said in a statement on Saturday.

She added, "The warrant issued on Friday was, in our view, born out of a misunderstanding which I am confident I can clear up next week."

Lindsay is due in court today for breaking her deal to attend an alcohol probation programme stemming from her 2007 drink-drive arrest.
