Jennifer Lopez says she understood why Britney Spears buckled under the pressure during her 2007/8 breakdown.
The pop diva - who is often subject to scrutiny in the press - reveals that she found it easy to identify with an umbrella wielding, bald Britney whose world was falling apart.
"I understood the pressure she was going through, having people depend on you," she tells the Daily Express.
"It will destroy you."
In an article Jennifer asked to be pulled, the singer was quoted as saying that she also suffered a nervous breakdown during the early days of her career.
Jennifer told The Daily Beast, "There was a time when I was very overworked and I was doing music and movies and so many things.
"I was suffering from a lack of sleep. And I did have a kind of nervous breakdown."
