Rihanna is reportedly returning to work in a bid to put the events surrounding boyfriend Chris Brown's alleged assault behind her.

According to reports Rihanna - who suffered  "horrific injuries"  after the Run It star repeatedly punched her in the face - is said to be keeping herself preoccupied by working on her upcoming album.

Her producer Adonis Shropshire tells HipHollywood.com."She's doing OK. I mean, of course [with] the situation, she's all right.

"With anybody in the world that goes through something, you have to bring yourself out of it. So I guess her refuge is her music, of course, as it should be."

He adds, "Of course, there's still remnants of whatever from time to time. But she's definitely trying to move forward."

Meanwhile Chris Brown's arraignment has been pushed back to April 6, when he will find out if he faces jail time for allegedly beating his girlfriend.

TMZ.com is reporting that apology text messages sent by Chris to Rihanna's assistant could be very damaging for his case next month.
