Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline is said to have banned their two sons from seeing any of her sexually-charged shows.

K-Fed reportedly told his ex-wife that her provocative dance moves and raunchy stage outfits are way too explicit for Jayden James and Sean Preston to see.

So Britney - who lost custody of her sons in 2007 - didn't rock the boat and instead put on a private PG performance for her boys and her ex-husband, who joined her on tour this week.

A source tells the Mirror, "It was great for Brit to have the children around.

"There is so much riding on the tour that she had worked herself up and her nerves were getting to her.

"Seeing the boys before her big night helped to relax her. She let them see most of her numbers in rehearsals, but the really sexy ones she left until the late-night run throughs when they had gone home."

Britney kicked off her world tour on Tuesday night in New Orleans.
