Robert Pattinson has revealed that he may put his musical talents to good use and make an independent record with pals in the near future.
The Twilight star – who says his best pals are musicians - reveals that music, not acting, was his first love and he still plans on pursuing it someday.
Rob tells movieonline.com, "I might make an album but not through a record company or anything. I'd like to do something independent.
"I don't care if people buy it or not. I'd just like to have it just for myself so I can work with good musicians and stuff."
And as for why he opted for acting over life as a rock star, Rob says, "My sisters were saying you can't make money out of music. I thought why not just see what happens with acting..."
Last October the British actor and his acoustic guitar performed at L.A's Whiskey-A-Go-Go but he says open mic nights are a thing of the past after “it ended up on YouTube and ruined the whole thing for me.”
However, he hasn't given up karaoke and was was recently spotted making sweet music with Hugh Jackman at a bar in Tokyo.
