Chris Brown looked like he didn't have a care in the world as he jet-skied in Miami with a huge grin on his face yesterday.

Rihanna was no where to be seen, despite reports that the pair are back together following the February 7 altercation that left the Umbrella star with "horrific" injuries.

The Run It singer pounded the waves around Miami's exclusive Star Island, where he is said to be staying at Sean 'Diddy' Comb's $20m home.

The 21-year-old looked relaxed as he talked and joked with friends on the pier by the waterfront mansion, despite facing a March 5 court date over the alleged assault.

He was even spotted playfully throwing a left jab at a female friend.

Chris is said to have reunited with Rihanna at Diddy's home last week amid reports they are trying to save their relationship.
