Rihanna is soaking up the sun on a beach in Mexico only weeks after suffering "horrific injuries" from an altercation with boyfriend Chris Brown.
The Disturbia star - who was left with contusions to the forehead, a split lip and bloody nose after a row with Chris turned nasty on February 7 - has been getting away from it all with a trip across the boarder.
NY Daily News reports that Rihanna was spotted strolling along a beach in Punta Mita, where she has been staying while the dust settles.
The Barbadian pop star's war wounds seem to have healed as no bruises were visible on her face, according to the publication.
But Rihanna couldn't mask her emotional pain which will no doubt take much longer to fade.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles DA's office told In Touch that Rihanna is yet to make any charges against Chris; "We do not have enough evidence and there have been no charges filed on the Chris Brown case."
Chris and Rihanna are said to be reuniting for a court case regarding the alleged attack on March 5.
