Madonna was reportedly left red-faced after a run in with ex-husband Sean Penn at an Oscars after party.

The Milk star - who took home an Oscar for Best Male Performance at this weekend's Acadamy Awards - didn't mince his words when the unlikely former couple came face to face at the Vanity Fair after party.

The Sun reports that Madge - trying her best to be civil - praised her ex for his performance as gay activist Harvey Milk in the hit film Milk.

But the Oscar winner was far from polite, instead offering his opinion on the queen of pop's current beau, Brazilian model Jesus Luz.

Sean allegedly said, “Thanks. Another kid already?”, before swanning off to make chit chat with the other guests.
