Jennifer Aniston And 'Oscar Boyfriend' John Mayer Are Picture Perfect!

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer made a rare public appearance as a couple at the Oscars last night.

The former Friends star and her on-again, off-again boyfriend skipped the red carpet but looked cosy as they sat side-by-side during the ceremony.

They then headed to the Vanity Fair Oscars party, where the actress was snapped beaming as she led her lover by the hand into the Sunset Tower Hotel.

Once inside, they cuddled up as they posed for pictures on the red carpet.

The couple have previously done their best to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, and made sure to keep their distance when they both attended the Los Angeles premiere of Marley & Me.

But last week John seemed excited at the prospect of escorting his girlfriend up the red carpet at Hollywood's most glittering occasion.

He said, "I'm going to the Oscars...It’s my first Oscars. And it’s my first being an Oscar boyfriend."

And Jen looked relaxed and happy with John by her side last night, and was no doubt relieved she was able to show the world - including ex Brad Pitt and his new partner Angelina Jolie - that she's moved on.
