Zac Efron and Robert Pattinson cemented their screen idol status when they suited up for the Oscars yesterday.
The pair - who have been pitted against one another ever since Rob was catapulted onto the A-list courtesy of his role in movie phenomenon Twilight - posed on the red carpet at the glittering event in identical tuxes.
Zac had slicked back his locks old-Hollywood-style for the ocassion, while Rob went for a more casual look - although, he had shaved off the beard he's been sporting in recent weeks.
The High School Musical hottie lapped up the attention as he posed for pictures outside the Kodak theatre with girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.
Rob on the other hand didn't spend long on the red carpet - perhaps he was anxious about presenting an award on stage with Amanda Seyfried?
Zac teamed up with Beyonce, Vanessa, and Amanda for a song 'n' dance number at the glittering event.
The group, along with host Hugh Jackman, performed a medley of songs from hit musicals in a routine that was choreographed by Australian film director Baz Luhrmann.
