This Sunday's Academy Awards ceremony is set to come over all High School Musical when host High Jackson teams up with the movie's young stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens for a one-off musical extravaganza at the star-studded event.

Alongside the HSM couple, Hugh will be joined on-stage by Beyonce and Mamma Mia's Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper for a show-stopping song-and-dance routine.

The Aussie actor - who started his career as a Broadway star - has roped in his Australia director Baz Luhrmann to work his magic on the as-yet-unknown musical number, reports E! Online.

The 81st Academy Awards takes place at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday.
