Angelina Jolie is ready to go back to work and is planning to take her family with her.

The Wanted star was spotted on a house-hunting mission in New York yesterday as she prepares for her upcoming movie Edwin A. Salt.

Dressed smartly in a black trench coat and knee-high suede boots, the actress was accompanied by three bodyguards as she browsed for a new apartment on the Upper West Side.

Sources say that Angelina is looking for a new home that will be closer to her future film set, or that she may just be looking for a base in the city for her and her super-sized family.

The Jolie-Pitt clan are believed to be renting a Long Island mansion for use when Angelina films the new movie.
