Robert Pattinson will be putting in an appearance at the Oscars, according to a new report.
The Academy Awards has suffered from a lack of viewer interest in recent years and it's claimed that organisers have secured the services of the Twilight star to boost the eye-candy quotent at this year's ceremony.
HitFix claims to have confirmed rumours that Rob will present an award, although it is not yet known which one or whether he will be joined on stage with co-star Kristen Stewart.
As the star of one of last year's biggest box office draws, the young British actor is perhaps not such a left-field choice of presenter as he first appears.
But whether he proves the genius ratings coup that the organisers are apparently hoping for remains to be seen.
The Academy Awards take place on Sunday and are presented this year by Australia star Hugh Jackman.
