The actress stepped out wearing the red string Kabbalah bracelet to the New York premiere of her latest flick Two Lovers on Wednesday.

The superstar pals have spent more and more time together in recent months, as the Material Girl moves on from her split from husband Guy Ritchie.

Their partying antics have even raised question marks about Gwyneth's marriage to Chris Martin.

According to Kabbalah texts, the bracelets protect wearers from negative forces and the 'evil eye.'

If Gwyneth is studying the ancient Jewish teachings, she won't be the first star recruited by Madonna - other star followers include Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.
