Roommates Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick need to keep their personal hygiene in check, according to insiders.

The Gossip Girl co-stars are apparently a far cry from their socially privileged characters Nate and Chuck, who rely on servants to keep their Upper East side mansions pristine.

The duo - who currently share a flat in Chelsea, New York - have reportedly brought new meaning to the word 'slob' by living in complete celebrity squaller.

“It stinks!” an insider tells the New York Daily News. 

“Those boys are slovenly and have garbage and clothes everywhere. You’d think they were living in a frat house!”

Luckily, Ed's girlfriend Jessica Szohr - who plays Vanessa on the hit show - doesn't seem to be fazed by all the dirt and grime during her regular visits to their bachelor pad.
