Jennifer Hudson Shines At The Grammy Awards

Katy Perry, Jennifer Hudson and Miley Cyrus joined a host of celebrities for music's biggest night yesterday - the Grammy Awards.

But Jennifer was back on top after she scooped an award for best R&B album for her album Jennifer Hudson.

The star fought back tears as she collected the prize, just three months after her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago.

Jen received her award from Whitney Houston, and remembered her late family members during her acceptance speech.

"I don't really know what to say, I have got Whitney Houston presenting this to me, I am in awe," she said.

"First of all I would like to thank God, who has brought me through, I would like to thank my family, those in heaven and those who are here today."
