Brad Pitt still holds a candle for ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, according to a new report.

The Fight Club star - who divorced Jennifer in 2005 - is reportedly missing his former spouse as things become more and more intense with his and current partner Angelina Jolie's rapidly expanding brood.

A source tells the National Enquirer, "The way Brad talks about Jen is enough to make his drinking buddies wonder that maybe, after all this time, he wishes he hadn't broken up with her.

"You just get the feeling Brad now knows he could always be himself around Jennifer and he can't with Angelina."

The source adds, "I'll bet he's secretly lusting after Jen as she turns 40. She's sexier than ever.

"Surely he had more than a twinge of jealousy when she got back with John Mayer. Drinking buddies have even teased him about his ex and how she's dating a young buck!

"Brad's in a lonely, emotional place with his woman. But it's a place he chose and can't just up and leave - not with those kids!

"The best he can do is keep finding comfort in booze, but only until Angie tells him no more - or else!"
