Britney Spears' father Jamie is said to be furious over former manager Sam Lutfi's attempts to humiliate the pop star in court.

Earlier this week Sam filed papers suing the Spears family for defamation and also claiming that Jamie was violent and abusive to him on several occasions.

And now Jamie - who has full conservatorship over Britney's assets - is reportedly hitting Sam where it hurts with his own legal action.

Papa Spears is said to be doing everything in his power to get Sam before a judge for allegedly drugging his daughter with sedatives and anti-anxiety pills. 

A source tells The Sun, “He is determined to pursue a criminal prosecution.

“Jamie also believes Sam tried to take control of her [Britney's] life and finances.”
