Britney Spears' former manager Sam Lutfi is suing the pop star for defamation and 'emotional distress'.
Earlier this week it emerged that Britney had taken out a restraining order against Sam and her ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, forbidding them from making any contact with her or any member of her family after they allegedly sought to 'undermine' her conservatorship.
And now Sam is hitting back with some legal action of his own.
The shady businessman has filed documents accusing Britney and her parents of damaging his reputation and claiming that he 'saved the day' during her 'meltdown' period.

In the lawsuit filed yesterday, Sam states, "Resentful of Lynne and afraid of Jamie's controlling, violent, and often unpredictable behaviour, Britney began inquiring about obtaining restraining orders against Jamie and Lynne."
He also accuses Brit's father Jamie of assaulting him and hits out at her mum Lynne's book Through The Storm - which paints him in a negative light.
Furthermore he claims that the singer broke a contract with him and owes him unpaid management fees.
