Britney Spears has confirmed that she will be taking her sons on tour next month, after threatening to pull out of her upcoming gigs if they didn't join her.

The pop princess' father and primary conservator Jamie Spears reportedly reached an agreement with Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline - who has full custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James - so the boys can travel with their mother.

Britney is said to have offered K-Fed $4000 a week for his co-operation in the matter.

The pop star has also reportedly set up three family homes in New Orleans, L.A. and New Jersey so both her sons and her ex can be a part of the U.S leg of her tour.

The singer's team posted the news on her official website Britneyspears.com:

Britney is so excited to kick off her tour. She has been enjoying every moment of rehearsals and is looking forward to performing in front of a live audience again. Both Sean Preston and Jayden James will, in fact, be joining Britney throughout the duration of her tour. The Circus kicks off in New Orleans on March 3rd.
