Jennifer Connelly Cuts A Painfully Thin Figure In New York

Jennifer Connelly gave Lindsay Lohan a run for her money in the skinny stakes as pounded the streets of Manhatten this weekend.

The Hollywood actress - who stars alongside Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore upcoming movie He's Just Not That Into You - looked painfully thin as she walked along, clutching the hand of husband Paul Bettany by her side.

Jennifer appeared to be a shadow of her former self, in loose fitting jeans and a tiny leather jacket.

But the actress' dramatic weight loss has been linked to the strain of the death of her father Gerard in September of last year.

Paul recently explained to OK!, "I will tell you...My wife just lost her father."
