Exercise Video Producer Weighs In On Jessica Simpson 'Fat' Debate

Jessica Simpson's attempts to put the furore surrounding her recent weight gain behind her have been thwarted by an old enemy.

As Entertainmentwise reported previously, Jessica hooked up with Alex Astilean and his company Speedfit to make a fitness DVD in 2005.

The resulting video never saw the light of day because the Simpson clan were unhappy with the allegedly shoddy production values.

Four years and one lawsuit later, the video producer is using the fuss over Jessica's newly-curvy physique to help settle the score against the star and father-manager Joe.

Astilean has leaked part of the original video showing a trim and toned Jess on YouTube.

"At least now she will get to feel how it is to be fat," he tells Page Six.

On Friday, Jessica's lawyer warned Astilean that be would be sued for defamation if he continued to smear the singer's reputation.

He previously claimed that failing to release the exercise DVD had caused “fat people” to die.

Leave Jessica Simpson alone, she looks beautiful even with weight on her bones, skinny is so out of style, curves and being healthy is definetly in. Look at all the gorgeous female stars that have curves like Eva Mendes, Shakira and so, all of them are beautiful but at least Not Super Skinny, I, as a woman would also rather prefer being a T-bone steak than a skinny scrawny unhealthy chicken who can barely walk around because they're too thin, they look like skeletons. Jessica, you're beautiful!

She is beautiful. Our collective concept of beauty has for too long been dictated by men in the fashion industry. SHE IS NOT FAT, she is what natural beauty is. May we all be so lucky

Skinny is out??? Curvy (...fat) is in??? Uhhhhh, NOT!!!! Try telling the Sports Illustrated swimsuit models that skinny is out. Try telling any guy in America skinny is out. She has put on some weight. It is not attractive. She looked better when she was 25 lbs lighter. I think the 2 comments above were posted by big girls that want to feel better about themselves by stating fat Jessica is pretty. She'll be pretty again when she loses 25-30 lbs.
