Pictures of Tom Cruise tenderly resting a hand on Katie Holmes' tummy have sparked another round of pregnancy gossip.

Tom's affectionate gesture came as the couple left the Ivy restaurant in London to a smattering of flashbulbs earlier this month, following the UK premiere of Valkyrie.

And to some, this was a clear sign that their two-year-old daughter Suri will soon have a little brother or sister.

"It was identical to how Tom used to stand with Katie when she was pregnant with Suri," an onlooker tells OK!.

When asked about whether the couple plan on expanding their family, Tom's standard response has been "Ask Katie."
