John Travolta and his family can finally have some peace of mind after a suspect was formally charged yesterday for attempting to extort money from the grieving family.

Ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne was charged with attempting to extort and conspiracy to extort over the death of 16-year-old Jett Travolta.

Minister of National Security Tommy Turnquest tells Usmagazine.com that Lightbourne pleaded not guilty to attempting to extort $25 million from the Travolta family.

Authorities also arrested Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater who was released on $40,000 bail on Friday, and detained former tourism minister and close freind of the Travoltas, Obie Wilchcombe who later wasn't charged.

Said Wilchcombe of his attempts to help the family: "I did a noble thing."

Jett died tragically of a suspected seizure disorder in the family's suite in the Old Bahama Bay resort in the Bahamas.
