Jennifer Aniston and singer boyfriend John Mayer have reportedly called it a day on their on-again, off-again romance.

The couple - who haven't been pictured together since just before Christmas - are said to have ended their rocky relationship after the former Friends star began losing interest in her younger beau. 

According to Heat magazine, Jennifer's lack of enthusiasm for their union left John feeling rejected, which prompted him end the relationship.

"It was after the Golden Globes, he decided to end it then and there," an insider said.

We're not sure the significance of the Golden Globes as the couple didn't attend - could it have been Angelina and Brad's lovey-dovey display?

And even though it wasn't Jen doing the dumping, it seems she has finally realised that John simply isn't the guy to sweep her off her feet.
