Brad Pitt Hails Barack Obama's Inauguration The Start Of 'A New Era'

The actor gets political...

Tuesday 20th Jan 2009

Brad Pitt has revealed his delight regarding the inauguration of Barack Obama and says that he sees this as the beginning of a 'new era'.

At the premiere of his new film The Curious Case of Benjamin in Berlin, Brad spoke to reporters about the future of the United States and its new leader.

Brad said, "It's a new era for us - it reconfirms the original ideals of America.

"We're very excited about what the future holds. You see people look invigorated at home rather than the cynicism for the last 10 years."

The Fight Club star also added that over the past few months there has been a buzz of excitement in Europe as well as America.

He said, "I've been filming here the last few months and the Americans who were here during the night of the election were congratulated by all Europeans on the set."

  • I think that they like to follow the politics a lot. Now that US has its first ever African-American president (Barack Obama) they´ll be following it even more closely. So once again:congratulations to all Americans for your new president. Wonder where the family will be watching the inauguration party tonight?

Bush committed hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism (indicated in my blog). George W. Bush did in fact commit innumerable hate crimes. And I do solemnly swear by Almighty God that George W. Bush committed other hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism whic
