The actor is scheduled to appear at the Newseum - where the inauguration will be held next Tuesday - on January 26, so it looks like George will be in Washington for almost two weeks!
We hope Mr Clooney smartens up his appearance by then - he turned up wearing a very old-looking pair of filthy boots.
