Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may have looked composed and flawless at last night's Golden Globes - but it was a different story before the ceremony, according to Brad.

The actor told reporters that perfecting a polished appearance on the red carpet wasn't as easy as many would think, especially when you've got six kids running about.

He said the day had started, "same as every morning: chaotic and messy!"

And when it came to Brad's Best Actor nomination for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Angelina's Best Actress nomination for Changeling, Brad downplayed their chances of winning.

He said, "We haven't even talked about it yet - we haven't."

In the event, neither Brad nor Angelina won in their respective catagories.
