Britney Spears is has asked her two sons to “spy” on Kevin Federline and his new girlfriend, it's claimed.

In a desperate bid to find out about her ex-husband's new partner, Victoria Prince, the jealous singer is said to have tasked her boys Preston, 3, and Jayden, 2, with keeping tabs on the pair and then reporting back with their findings.

"Britney has asked her boys what Victoria is like and if she spends the night,” the National Enquirer quotes a source as saying.

"She has also asked her bodyguards to milk information out of Kevin's bodyguards and quizzed his nanny and friends.

"She's been texting people, asking what's up with him and Victoria."

And Kevin is reportedly relishing his former wife's interest in his romantic affairs.

The source adds, "Kevin says that when Britney tells him she doesn't care if he dates, she says it with a lot of emotion, like she really does care. It pleases him that she is jealous.

"He wants her to want him back."
